I'm a dynamic communications leader and strategist motivated by community, culture and purpose.

 

​I've dedicated my career to supporting purpose-driven, high-growth companies build engaging communications messages and brand resonance through narrative storytelling and values-based engagement initiatives. I take a holistic approach to strategic communication, with an emphasis on developing clear, consistent and creative messaging plans for a variety of audiences that serve as a golden through-line.

 

A communications utility player, I have experience leading global communication campaigns, culture and employee engagement strategies, executive thought leadership and corporate communications, PR/media relations, and brand development.

1 / Formalised internal communication and engagement at Zepz

Built internal communication through the launch of repeatable, scaleable progammes for 1200+ remote-first employees that drove employee engagement and brand advocacy.

Optimised the Zepz channel infrastructure, company All Hands, and ways of working rituals. I also launched an engagement programme that included regular product demos, customer-centric storytelling, executive AMAs, internal brand advocates and regular employee sentiment surveying.

 

Trusted adviser to C-suite, supporting executive thought leadership and change management.

2 / Created the brand building blocks for Steve Wozniak's Privateer Space

Developed the foundational brand identity for Apple co-founder's space data startup, including the creation of key messaging hierarchy, brand guidelines, press kits, and tone of voice guides, to establish a strong and cohesive brand presence ahead of its public launch.

Led the press launch of its first brand partnership with luxury watchmaker OMEGA, which included a multi-page cover feature in The Telegraph.

3 / Led Noom's international launch

Created localised communications and PR plans for the launch of 5 international markets (UK, AU, DACH, LATAM), resulting in more than 300 pieces of consumer press coverage in under one year.

4 / Built the Sofar Sounds brand

First full-time communications hire responsible for positioning a grassroots community organisation as an emerging entertainment startup and premiere destination for community-driven live music events. Established company mission, vision and core values, as well as formalised brand guidelines and in-house PR.

Led the communications through Series C fundraise and executive leadership changes.

5 / Dedicated hire for social impact communication at TOMS

Developed, managed and launched global social impact campaigns and communications related to TOMS' pioneer One for One Giving programmes in partnership with the world's largest NGOs, government agencies and celebrities.

Created issues-based brand, PR and internal communications campaigns focused on global health, education and gender inequity in 30+ countries.
